Muhammad Ali and Haile Gebresilassie to lead the opening of London Olympics

With Olympic fever now gripping the UK, it is revealed that Muhammad Ali, the greatest sportsman of all time, will lead the opening ceremony of the London Olympics on Friday. The 70-year-old, who has Parkinson’s disease but is still full of incredible spirit, is poised to take centre stage at Friday’s opening ceremony at the stadium in East London. Muhammad Ali had the opening ceremony torch at the Atlanta Olympics in 1996. This time he will be joined by Ethiopia’s long distance running legend Haile Gebrselassie and David Beckam.
