According to Ethiopian Television, state funeral for His Holiness Abune Paulos has been arranged for Thursday August 23, 2012. In an emergency meeting called by The Ethiopian Orthodox Synods, the funeral ceremony will be held at the Holy Trinity Cathedralin Addis Ababa staring midday Ethiopian time. It was also disclosed that a book of condolence will be arranged for the public to write down their grievance on the loss of his Holiness at the Ethiopian Orthodox Church Patriarch office starting 9:00am tomorrow. His Holiness passed away on Wednesday in Addis Ababa. He was 76 years old. His full title was His Holiness, Abune Paulos, Patriarch and Catholicos of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church and Archbishop of Axum and Ichege of the See of Saint Teklehaimanot.
