Jah Lude had a conert in Addis on July 7. I was fortunate enough to attend this conert and following is partial account of my experience.
(Tsigereda Seboka, The Sheba Post | Addis Ababa). When I arrived to Jah Lude concert in Addis last Saturday on July 7 many people were waiting to enter inside. I made my way to the front and started to distribute The Sheba Post business card. As much people were excited for the Jah Lude concert, they receive The Sheba Post with the same enthusiasm as well. Whenever we get a chance, we talked to them what The Sheba Post is and what it stands for: carrying balanced and accurate information about our country and region in general.
Finally we made our way into the concert and it was like wow!! I was with my cousin and friends. All of us were so excited to see Jah Lude. The stage was beautiful, the stage light was spectacular! First Digis started the show followed by a DJ, then The Mehari Brothers together with Hanni Mekuria, who is new and upcoming artist. Then Ras Janny graced the stage with our flag painted with Lion of Judah. At that point the audience went nuts, wild and ecstatic. Simply we were so happy, we were shouting! OMG he sings lovely.
Then it was Dawit Meles’s turn. He gave us a very good performance. Everyone was happy to see Dawit after long absence from the stage. And he didn’t disappoint, wow did he give us an amazing performance!
Break time… then DJ after that it was the turn for the man of the hour; it was time for Jah Lude! Just on midnight the stage erupted in shout and excitement when Jah Jude came out to the stage. Shout here and shout there; people where happy. After he started to sing the whole concert became one voice and one act: people dance and sing along with Jah Jude. His performance was great and he was in absolute control of the stage. People asked him to sing ‘yergeb amora’ and to the delight of everyone in the concert he sang that song twice. Wow! He sang that song with Lucy (The Ethiopian Women National Football Team). It was so beautiful!
When Jah Jude sang "YACHIN NEGER" most of people turned condoms into balloon and throw them into the air…This was the funny part of concert!
After the concert was over around 8 (2am) everyone went out to the street to sing and dance. No traffic no police! Finally when we get free way, we drove home around 2:30am. Great concert! Great performance! Great atmosphere! Everything went very well. Everyone was happy! Thank you The Sheba Post! God bless Ethiopia and God bless Jah Jude!

so sold my ticket with friends and went to other place.

Linda Yohannes: "Extremely disappointed at the situation we had to face outside Laphto Center on Saturday! What was an exciting evening to see the star on stage, turned into security officers turning to violence to check the crowd demanding its right to enter. Big pity!"

Lily Kassaun "This was a disaster night ! Over sold ticket for the event... Not enough security ..and very bad. Show listed for 7pm did not even start by 11 pm...Basically a complete mess. 8 of us had VIP tickets and had a horrible time... we were being stepped on and pushed around from 9-11, could not even see the stage from the vip section there were soooo many people, was impossible to buy a drink because there was too many people, so we left at 11 before Jah was in the building... Waste of our money for a very disorganized concert.

Selome Bedlu "however, time of the concert should be respected.....and at the end of the show we had to deal with every goremssa outside claiming for $ that they attended to the cars... they were in charge and they blocked the main road waiting for almost 40mts....police/securitywhere were they??......
