National football team coach believes Ethiopia still can qualify to 2013 Africa Cup of Nations

Ethiopia is hosting Sudan for Africa Cup of Nations final in Addis Ababa this Sunday. This is a crucial game for Ethiopia to win decisively in order to secure its place in the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa. The expectation for the Black Lions to deliver result is very high and no wonder the government of Ethiopia promised each of its players 25,000 Ethiopian birr if they qualify to the Nations cup.

Ethiopian national football team coach Sewnet Bishaw believes his side can still qualify for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations finals by beating visiting Sudan in this weekend's return leg of the final qualifier. Ethiopia hosts Sudan this Sunday, October 14, at the Addis Ababa stadium trailing 5-3 from last month's encounter in Khartoum. Bishaw told Cafonline.com ahead of the encounter that it is possible to turn the tables on Sudan and qualify.

Coach Sewnet said that Ethiopia’s loss in Khartoum was a heavy defeat. But he still believes that it is possible to reverse that result with a simple 2-0 win in front of home fans.
